What I got for Christmas
Sorry I'm a little late, but I thought that now would be a good time to write up a little about what I got for Christmas.
Well, first off I got one of my favorite movies of all time, Batman Begins. This was the best Batman movie ever, by far! And, in my opinion, it was even better than my beloved Star Wars Episode III.
After that I got the board game Risk. I love that game, conquering the world is always a fun thing to do!
Then, my biggest present is my new MP3 player. But not one of the cheaper ones, I got one of the $300 ones. Its not an Ipod either. I did want one before, but they just don't have enough features for me. And for once, an Apple product has gotten to much attention and it just... well... to high marketed, and to many people have them. And I don't like owning what everyone else does. (Man, i really hated those braclets that everyone was wearing, except the ones for a good cause). So this time I got the player that I was looking at. I got, the iRiver H10 5 GB.
Now I know what you are all thinking. Its an iPod rip-off. But it isn't, thats because the iRiver line started in 2000. The iPod came out in late 2001. So in a way, the iPod ripped off the River. But lets forget that and get down to details.
The iRiver H10 can play Mp3 files and WMAs. It also has the ability to show .jpg files, (pictures), as well as .TXT files, (text files). The screen isn't big enough to show the pictures in all of their glory, mainly cause they will be shrunk down a fair bit, but its a nice little addon. The player also has a FM radio tuner and recorder, which is a nice feature. As well as a voice recorder.
Now, the player is good, but does have some minor bugs, although it is fixed with updates. Although, I would only advise you to buy this product unless you have a moderate understanding of computer science and all.
Arogance......
Has anyone other than me noticed how more and more people these days are becoming incredibly arrogant?
Google defines the word as "having or showing feelings of unwarranted importance out of overbearing pride; "an arrogant official"; "arrogant claims"; "chesty as a peacock". I guess thats a good definition. It is basically saying that arrogance is a person being incredibly confident and thinking that they are better than everyone else. And this quality really annoys me. Mainly because I myself try not to be like this. I honestly hate it when people come up to me and say, "Oh man, I could beat you at playing the piano soooo bad. I am awesome at it! I could play it with my eyes closed! Its just a talent that I have!". So heres a little fact that you can write down about me:..... THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT PISS ME OFF! I don't give a damn if they are better than me, because sometimes, in certain areas it is true, they are. Like I can't play a piano! But the thing is, when people come up to me and say this stuff when honestly, they aren't really that good to start off with! Even if they are, they don't have to act like the big shot on campus. That annoys me.
I was talking to a friend of mine a while ago and they said that they could do something better than somebody else, and that didn't bother me for some reason. Maybe because they were just comparing or something, or maybe because it was just true. But honestly people, you don't have to act as though you're the best and make sure everyone knows that. When I am around people and they give me a compliment, I feel a little ackward sometimes, but its still good to be acknoleged. But I don't go around saying that I can do this and that and yada yada yada.
So next time your around me, don't go on bragging about how amazing you are. Especially if you aren't amazing in the first place!

The Future
I'm going to talk about the one thing that freaks me out a bit..... the future!
Now, I only have, what, 3 and a half years of school left before college, and honestly, I'm not 100% sure of what I'm going to do. Although, I can see what a lot of other people will be doing.
Noah: Doing something with computers, or maybe trying to become a doctor, if he doesn't get to lazy(er)
Schofield: Well, hes a little more tough. He could do stand up if he tried, but he'd have to move out of Halifax and to Toronto or something. He could also do something for a band I guess. But he would have an easier time with standup.
Kyle (Labrador): Well Kyle, I honestly can't imagine what you'll be doing. Ummm.... McDonalds? Oh wait, THEY DON'T HAVE ONE IN GOOSE-BAY!
Tyler (Labrador): Wow, I don't know where to put you either. You and Kyle are to hard to place anywhere.
Madison: Well,you could do a lot of stuff really. What you actually choose to do, well, that should be interesting.
Steven: I could see you doing something that involves managing something. Maybe a buisness.
One of the things that I don't know is what the hell I'm going to be doing. I had a list of things before but as time goes on they kinda go away. First it was a lawyer, which is still an option, but it just takes a long time to work up to. Then there was the game designer, and that is still an option. Zelda: Twilight Princess on The Revolution
Well, the European Nintendo magazine, NGC, is reporting that the 'new features' that delayed the new Zelda game's release in October, is the ability to play the game on the Nintendo Revolution with added features.
The article also slipped in that the game should be released in late spring. Does this mean that the Revolution will be released around the same time as the new Zelda game? This could mean that Zelda and the Revolution will both be released on the same day.
All Nintendo fans had better start saving up their cash now, because it looks as though that the 'Revolution' is coming!

I Hate Etalk Daily!
I would now like to tell the public who my newest nemesis is......... it is.... ETALK DAILY! Yes, CTV's entertainment news show. This show really annoys me!
1. The hosts are annoying!
2. Ben Mulrony is there and he pisses me off!

4. They take in tabloid news as if it is the Bible.
5. They name off every Canadian actor alive every night!
Honestly though, about number 5. I watched the thing and they start going on about something and then bring up, "And Canada's own Rachel McAddims was spotted drinking tea with Canadian hunk Paul Martin yesterday." and "Brad Pitt was seen on Canadian soil with Canadian Jim Carrey yesterday." Really though. Then they bring up how Jim Carrey is Canadian 50 more times. They also told views to go out and buy A Series of Unfortunate Events starring Carrey. That was the number one movie that they recommended, even though it was a terrible movie.

Birthday Presents!
Got a couple of presents for my birthday taht was on December 19th.
First off I got this new phone thats worth more than a hundred bucks. Even thought I don't use the phone regularily. Its more for everone though.
I also got the Star Wars Trilogy. All of the last 3 good movies. I also got some candy and stuff. But still, pretty good birthday. Now for Christmas.

Life
Well, I haven't used the good 'ol Blogger account for a long time, so I decided, "What the heck. Google is trying to rule the world anyways. I might as well give in before they take me by force." So here I am, and since I am here, lets do a little life update.
Well, Homework is here and its hell. Project after project. Common people! STOP IT ALL READY! I'm gonna go crazy soon. I'm starting to get into that mood again where I'll stop being nice to people I really don't wanna be nice to and just rip people apart because I have so much stuff to do. And then other stuff on the side. SO yep, fun fun fun. So I would like to appoligize in advance to anyone I yell at next week, ok??
In other news, the newspaper is gonna come out next week, and it should be interesting. Next year the school is screwed because they got nobody to take it over and run it properly. So I wish good luck to Ms. Reynolds for finding somebody to do it properly.
Other news. One of my friends is really freaking me out talking about becoming a lesbian. But other than that, it all is pretty normal around here. Besides the snow which I have already begun to despise. Yes, already. I get tired of things quickly. Especially living in the same place! *Hint hint*
