Update, and Another Nail In TechTV's Coffin....

I know, I know, I haven't updated anything for quite a while now. Well I've just been a little busy with stuff, plus I've been a little to lazy to update anything.

To start off, I'd like to talk about how G4 continues to kill out everything left of TechTV. In 2004, Comcast dropped the hit technology and videogame channel, TechTV from its cable service. By doing this, Comcast helped drop the market value of TechTV, leaving it wide open for a buyout. So in 2004, Comcast, owning a videogame channel itself called G4TV, bought out TechTV turning the station into G4TechTV.
A little after the buyout, the "TechTV" part of "G4TechTV" was dropped and the station was now only G4TV. The new G4 wanted to go for a much broader audience, and cancelled many of the technology shows as well as some videogame shows. They also fired almost all of the TV personalities from TechTV, and replaced them with new ones.
2 years after the buyout of TechTV by Comcast's G4 network, the company has canned all but 1 of the shows from TechTV. At the start of April, 4 TechTV personalities were left. Now there are 2. Sarah Lane and Brendan Meran have decided to leave G4. Were they pressured by the network to leave? Who knows, but it is certain that G4 is not mourning the lose. As soon as Sarah and Brendan left, they replaced Sarah with a new, young, acting chick with big boobs and acting experience. But you know what she doesn't have? EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNOLOGY! Yes, G4 decided that it would be best to hire somebody onto the network who has no knowledge of computers or videogames.
Now normally I wouldn't be against a new hot chick who has had implants, but this time its all too much. I don't want to watch a show about computers and videogames and crap with somebody who has no clue what they are talking about. When I first saw her it wasn't the worst thing in the world seeing a new face, but after about 1 minute, literally, I didn't like her. I COULD TELL SHE WAS READING THE TELEPROMTER! Never before has that happened on the show, but this time I could actually see that she was reading off the telepromter.
So this post is in the memory of the old TechTV. Theres 2 of you left, stay strong Adam and Morgan, stay strong.

Right now in school we are in the middle of a debating unit in English. SO this is pretty fun for me, considering its basically like acting. At least so far we haven't been given any stupid little topics like, "Whats better, cats or dogs". If I had to do something like that, I would go mental. The next one that I have to right is about Gay Marriage, so thats going to be interesting to write about.

Dad left for Egypt last week and things around here are going ok. Although the kids have been driving me a little mental. Plus my sister is as arrogant as hell thinking she runs the whole house and ignoring what I'm saying and stuff. You know, acting like those annoying popular girls you see in the movies. The other kid isn't being too bad though. Its a little tough, but noting to complain about considering what other people go through. Lately though I've been seeing Egypt in the news more than usual lately.
